Just thought I'm droping a line to shortly introduce myself. I'm a passionated tourrider and signed this up quiet a while ago because I'm simply keen on anything that has to do with motorbikes or tourriding, especially if it has to do with a GS.

Sometimes one has to do improvisation, especially if you're on tour with a buddy riding a Harley; Fixing the HD with a pickels-glass-lid can be a creative way to proceed the tour!!!

Hi mate, welcome to the site. Those pics are fantastic, just showed them to the wife to try to inspire her to get on the back, should have checked them all before I did The one of the bike in the ditch didn't help my case

Well, yes, live is full of compromises (especially if you're swiss;-) )!
So having r1150gsadventure-girlfriend with me on tours (what finally means beeing allowed even TO GO on tour) means also without any chance to discuss: Bringing 5 pairs of GF-shoes and 1 pair of underpants and socks per day for me. Not much space left for gadgets like travel-guid-books, tripod or tube-repair-set..... ;-)
