TOURATECH EVENT Germany- ride out

I have been invited to exhibit my F650GS and run a slide show of my last trip into Africa during the Touratech Main Event in Niedereschach, Germany.
Does anyone want to come along? get in touch. I will be leaving :driving

on Wednesday 24th by early SpeedFerries ferry (Dover-Boulogne)
(and what a good way for you to come and support SOS Village too!!

Friday 26th and Saturday 27th May 2006

*Friday and Saturday evenings- Big Screen bike adventure tour shows
*Saturday- 4 ride-outs into the Black Forest and Jura souabe
*Test rides of the ReVamp, Desierto 3 and Oryx bikes
*Visits in the Touratech workshops
*Camping in the field behind Touratech, food , drinks available for purchase :beerjug:

Bert, I think MiGSel was looking at going down. I can't make it because I can't get the Friday off work unfortunately but MiGSel raves about this event. There's lots of opportunity to snap up some TT goodies and bargain prices so take your Euros with you !!!

good to hear from you.
TT gooddies...well....ermmm if only you knew how much this second mission is costing me mon ami, you'll understand that I can't afford any however tempting these may be.

I'm not working and have dedicated all my working time since my return from the first mission to putting this second one together. It's made a big hole in my resources

but it is for a good cause- they are in such need and I have no right to whinge compared to them.

I am going to be heading down on 25th morning. Hopefully with short001(Dave) if not he is travelling later that day. We are doing the camping thing.

Obviously we are already in Germany but if anyone fancies meeting up there or on the way down my number is on the left...or PM whatever takes your fancy.

Bert do you know if we have to let them know that we are coming/camping there. Looked on the site and they said send a quick message to say how your getting there and if your camping etc....anyone done this? And is there any cost involved other than your :beer:

and purchases. Cant see anything to that effect on the site.

Anyway think it will be a good couple of days...probably going to head east for a few days after but we will see.

Looking forward to meeting any from here who decides to go

I believe that camping is in the field behind Touratech- and that it is free.
Yes, you need to let them know you are coming.

I'm planning to go thursday-morning, highway over Vervier, Trier, Zweibruecken, then country roads through the North Vosges and the Black Forrest, stay in Niedereschach until saturday, then back to the Vosges for some Colls and camping, back home on sunday...

Well when it all comes to an end on the Sunday I have a choice of what to do. Got a week off work so do i go home or go somewhere else. Thinking of going east to Praque but open to suggestions :nenau
