9 days in Sweden and Norway

I am looking for advice for our trip in June, 10th-18th.
Our plans are to arrive with ferry to Stockholm and return to Stockholm after 9 day riding.
We will come with two GS (1100&1150) and are looking for beautiful landscape, narrow twisty roads, also some off-road riding, but not too serious.
Where to go, what to see?
We will prefer sleeping in tent, is it mandatory to go to campsite or can we put our tent where we want (of course when there is enough room for that)?
Some good places to go? What route would you chose?

Have a look at THIS thread, everything you need to know about Norway.

A lot of older threads as well just hit the Search grab a beer and spend a few happy hours ;)

Hi Randel!

Do as said above! :)
And get from Stockholm to Norway as fast as you can;
Sweden is not that fun for a GS rider - Norway is much better if you like mountains and fun roads!

-Perhaps there is something going on at Sviestad in Linkoping when you are in the area? http://www.lms.se/web/_pages/Index.asp?NodeId=1&PageId=0
Or at Anderstorp http://www.arc.nu/
Or at Gellerås, Karlskoga http://www.promenta.se/
Or http://www.karlskogamotorstadion.com/
All those are in the south east of Sweden.

Sweden. The roads are lined with trees. Some of these trees are taller than others.

As Liv says, get to Fjord contry ASAP and stay there. You can camp anywhere in Norway, Sweden too I think, just so long as you leave no trace and are 150m[?] from anyones home.
