If you have a TTR and intend to use another/bigger SD card to hold more maps use a Kingston card!
After many hours of trying to use a top notch sandisc card and many mails to and from tomtom the solution was simply to use another card (reccommended by tomtom.)
Hope I can save someone the time and expense I wasted!
