Ali Cylinder head covers ?

I have not been on the forum for a while so this may have been discussed.

I am considering getting hold of those aluminum covers which fit over the heads of my GS12 (did have a part no but lost it). The idea is to offer 'some' protection for those senior moments when the bike falls off the stand and some slow speed topples (no one hopes to go there - but I am not sure how how effective they will be in crashes at speed, probably not a lot but cheaper than the heads).
The good dealer in the south want £130 for the pair.
does anyone have better ideas, are they worth fitting?
Is there a cheaper option?

still enjoy owning and riding the GS12 even though KTM have changed the seat on the other big traillie and BIKE mag have changed thier focus ........

I picked some from France on Ebay. My GS is ex-BMW off-road riding school where they use them instead of crash bars, but they do lose some thread from the cylinder heads when used in action. No problem yet but had to use thinner spacers.
