I've never loaded coordinates into my GPS.

I've got a 2610, can I do it on that? If I can then how? Please

You don't even have to load the co-ordinates manually, simply run the attachment from Mutleys Post above and it will appear on your copy of Mapsource on the PC complete with very fetching logo. :D

You can then transfer it to the 2610 together with your route. :thumb

"Mark" a Waypoint - when it pops up the screen with the name and location on it - touch on the location - then replace the co-ordinates - note you'll have to enter in same format as it shows i.e. N space 51 etc and W001 etc

RTFM,
I dont have a 2610 but if it is like most Garmin units it will be along these lines,
1, make sure you are using the correct map datum, in this case OSGB
2, create a waypoint (anywhere will do)
3, edit the way point co ordinates as given by Bakes
4, save the way point.

Thanks chaps, will do :thumb

What do you mean RTFM, I'm a bloke, the manual is the first thing that I throw away. I can use the GPSR fine, it's just that I've never needed to load coordinates before.

I can't see any pigs at the picture.
-Is'nt a Hogroast the UK's type of rodeo? We ride our bikes and try to catch a pig by swinging a rope in the air - like cowboys do?
Wroom-wroomm! Oink oink! Jiii-ha! :bounce1
And then put it inside-out and on a bonfire, in the sunset, listening to the wild animals in the bushes. And play harmonica.

:) Liv.
