Stell Alpina details wanted

Hello
Does the "main event" take place on a specific day (if so which day?) or is it an all-weekend affair.
(I wondering if I'll be able to get there in time this weekend)

The main 'event' takes place on the Sunday morning, though there's nothing to stop you riding the great surrounding roads any time of year (weather permitting). If you leave Saturday, you'd get there for Sunday. If you're camping, there's loads of places to pitch, including half way up the track...

The event is on the Sunday morning but the year that I went people started to arrive from about mid week and it’s a great area to spend a few days in

This is the campsite that we stayed in not cheep but a good site
You can camp for free half way up the Mountain but one of our group was on a road bike so we had to stay in the valley
