Just down loaded a route to my quest
and half way thought it said (on the quest screen)

Route Truncated

What the f**k does that mean

Not sure exactly, but my guess would be that the route that you have tried to download - goes beyond the mapset that is loaded on the Quest?

Have a look at the map coverage on the Quest to see if the blocks enclose your entire route.

I believe you're hitting a limit in the number of "nodes" per route that the Quest can manage.

Try to split the route in 2 or more shorter routes, should solve your problem.

Had the same problem on my SPIII.
One was allowed up to 500 waypoints on that device (I had 350 or so) but the mapsource creates its own intermediate waypoints as it calculates the route and loads these as well.
I got rid of the "truncation problem" by removing some of the routes and waypoints that I wasn't using from the unit.
