just bought an r1100rt

i shouldn't take days off work - i just bought an r1100rt.....

it's a '97 with 34,500 on it......its the cleanest bike i've seen in a long time.....and that includes my 1200gs (which is only a year old-but it has done more miles than the rt!!)

anybody else own one? any "must do" mods.?

give me a toot if you see me - i'm gonna use this for work (so gonna be on it more than the GS) ......it's quite a distinctive looking bike. . . . . .

it's an ex-paramedic bike (uk) but has had a respray - california highway patrol style (can't bring myself to type C.H.I.P.S)

I run an R1150RT as well as my GS and the RT is a good ride. As long as you stay moving, on a wet day you stay pretty dry, plus it can move well despite it's size and weight.

I went through London in the rush hour on mine a few weeks back in the heat and it was a bit of a handfull but still fun
