Service Costs

I'm going to need a 12,000 mile service in July. I'll probably take it to BVM - on reputation rather than convenience of location (West Wilts).

Any ideas what I should budget? This will be my first experience of BMW dealers (I bought privately and this is the first time its needed looking at).

Also, as I'll need a courtesy bike, does anyone know what they charge? (you only get a freebie if you buy the bike from them).

Yes, I will ask them myself, but its always nice to know what others have paid first...

Just had my 12,000 service today...at Wollastons,Northampton.
Total cost £184,which included sorting out the mess that carole nash alarm installation team had caused.

What do you mean no freebie!!Tell em you're a BMW owner!! I think £184 requires a replacement bike..then again maybe wollastons have spoiled me.

Good luck with BVM...I'm moving over that way later in the year (new job ect.)Would be nice to get the low down.
