:rob :bow Hello yall need to pick the brains of the GS collective .Have two options to travel to morocco ,either September to October during Ramadan or late October after Ramadan .I will be travelling all over the shop mainly south tho ,here are my qustions:-

1. Will Ramadan affect My trip adversly and would it be wise to miss it ?

2. What are the conditions in the high atlas during later october ,dont want snow (shit my potfull of that stuff in Pyrenees march) as i want to do the passes

3. If i went before Ramadan ,ie late August - early sept will the temp be too evil ? :spitfire

We went in Ramadam last year , no problems at all. You can get meals in most towns/ villages during the day, though a lot of the roadside type cafes were closed.

If you go from Marakesh to Ourzazate, make sure you fuel up before you leave as I think its about 80 miles to the first fuel stop. Not good when the orange light comes on at 50 miles out  . This was the only place that we had this problem.
