I've been having no end of problems with my new Autocom Pro 7 Sport setup. After it worked well for one day, it started to cut out more and more until it now hardly works.

I traced the fault to the point where the cable from the helmets' speakers and mic enter the injection moulded 7-pin plug. Manipulating this point allowed the circuits to work again.

Thinking I had broken it myself I contacted Autocom to get a new one sent out (Part 18). Karen at sales recognised my problem straight away and confirmed it as being part of a bad batch of cables which they had received. She has sent me a replacement cable FOC which may, unfortunately develop the same problem. But to prove how seriously she and Autocom are at customer service; she will also send me a newly designed cable which doesnt have this problem when they arrive in two weeks time - also FOC!

Well done Autocom.

I have exactly the same problem, when I wiggle the short lead it comes back, I'll send it back.
