has anyone fitted a set of ohlins to there bike? i've got a rear unit for my sports bike, but i've yet to fit it. but i've been offered a good price for a set on the bmw, from the same shop. as there's nothing wrong with the ones on, is it not worth doing, or will it feel that much better at the front with the ohlins??

rear ohlins is the best mod you can do to an 1150 IMO, especially perhaps the early ones where the shocks were really crap.

not totally convinced of the benefits of a front, but sod it, you might as well :D

the only adventure i have ridden seemed to have better OEM suspension than my GS, but not as good as ohlins.

if i was buying again, i'd consider WP or another make that offered adjustable compression damping. that's really to compensate for 1up/2up/luggage riding, not 'cos i'm a track god, which sadly i'm not.

Before you do it have a look at Wilbers - just fitted to my 03 Adventure. It was good before but its fecking ace now :thumb :thumb :thumb :thumb
