Never mind, it all looks good for Marrakech at the weekend :sunshine

And the visibility will be good, a real bonus :thumb

But -24C in Ifrane

I can't be the only one who on a couple of occasions riding north from Midelt has been frozen, riding in rain and thick fog. :(

Then at long last as you descend through the Cedar trees to Azrou the temp rises and on the left the modern garage and cafe ...mmmm warmth :)

The record low temperature for Morocco--indeed the whole of Africa--was -11F (-24C) set in 1935 in Ifrane.

you'd need to wear a good ANORAK for that then :)

Yep that's the one :thumb , been there 3 times always frozen and never seen a blue sky like that there when heading north, but the weathers always good when heading south

Hi,

Chucked it down seriously in Azilal - east of Marrakesh - last night. Cold cloudy start this morning but brightened up mid morning and has been sunny and warm for the rest of the day to Khemisset. As far as biking is concerned and apart from the 70 miles across the plain between High and Middle Atlas it's been the best day's biking so far.

A fleece would be handy early morning and evening.

Enjoy.
