indicator problem

Can anyone help?...

Decided to put new indicators on my xtz750 and once i'd got the first one on tried out the indicator and the light stops on without flashing!!

What am I doing wrong?..

Most systems flash faster if a bulb is blown or there`s a bad connection,but they don`t all do so.

As ever, if things were okay before a modification and not okay after the modification,go back to how it was and see what happens.

If all is well in stock condition,you`ve got a dodgy wire connection,blown or not seating bulb,or incorrect wattage bulb.

If you`ve bought those crappy cheap pattern mini indicators,the earth connection is just twisted around the bulb holder spring on most of them.

Check the wattage. If it is drawing the incorrect current then the flasher unit won't function correctly.
