I'd like to fit my Autocom gear to my GS1150 but looking around it I can't see suitable places for it. I'd like it hard wired to stay on the bike out of sight so all I have to do is plug my helmet lead in.

There appears to be enough space above the air filter and behind the battery for the black box but where can the readio go (Icom)? I don't want to take the toolbox (or tools) out. I don't have a top box and I'm thinking in terms of leaving the panniers off and using a tailpack in place of the passenger seat.

If anyone has any pictures of their installs it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance:thumb2

When we fit the 1150 GS's we fit the main control unit by the battery. Any radio then used for bike bike is ran on person or into a tank bag due the lack of room under the seat.
