    Tank range GS vs GSA

I'm racking up 600 miles a week at the moment.

That means three / four fuel stops a week on my 2004 R1200GS as I get approx 200 per tank.

Mainly motorway, some country blasts - usual commute,...

    Expected servicing cost

GS needs some loving - I am short of spare time and commute on the 1200 every day.

What can I except from BMW for:

Full service (oil, filters, final drive oil, plugs)
    Alternator belt...

    Wiring auxiliary lights

I've recently purchased some auxiliary lights for my 1200 GS, most likely to be mounted on the engine bars.

Now it's an 05 and used to have ABS which has been turned off / removed.

    How easy is...

    Hi all!

    Hi all,

Had my R1150GS for almost a year now, been faultless and one of the best rides I've owned.
Being the young chap I am I always said 'the GS is an old mans bike'. I was fortunate enough to...

I've really enjoyed my time with my R1150GS.

Many days and months exploring, trips abroad and then I had an idea.
