    I'd not worry about that.. no reason why it would change anything.. the only thing being if they had fixed the issue before giving you a new engine... from what I've seen BMW don't work this way.....

    That is indeed good news.. but where are all the spare engines going?.. Maybe more of these going down than we think?
    Lets hope the issue is fixed on the new one (when you get it :) )

    maybe it acts like an airfoil and ground effect.. sticking the stand the the bike and giving more grip to the tires.. Or it could just be 30 down the drain as its actually detrimental to the stand??

    no.... :) but the two arms are about the same...

    no.... :) but the two arms are about the same length... so as the rear arm comes up, the paralever actualy will push the bevel box down.. so it kind of maintains the ride hight a bit....

    Same comment.. the cross bar gets hit where you've put the tape.... at best its masking about 1/3rd of it? All I can see the cover doing is holding bits of chucked up stones in place around the back...

    take the rear shock off its lower mount, remove...

    take the rear shock off its lower mount, remove the wheel and push the arm up and down from its lower point up 200mm or what ever the travel is... you'll soon see how much they move ;)

    No.. I've always cliped it into the arm first and then put it onto the gearbox.. try it this way... It's quite easy except getting the tie wrap around ;)
