Custom T shirts

Hi
Would anyone be interested in a custom GS t shirt? I have recently set myself up with all the kit for producing high quality t shirts.

I'm working on a layout, but was thinking along the lines of a GS silouette or something similar - I'm open to ideas. I have a vinyl cutter so the design really needs to be mono ideally.

Price wise I'd be looking at 8.50 +1.99 P&P. plus an extra £1.50 for a first name on the front as well (opp side to logo). This would be for a heavyweight black T.

Basically the options are many and varied - If you want something else then I can play around with it. I'm also happy to print people's custom designs if they want.

You'd be best putting this in the 'Vendors of innovations' section ;)

possibly with a few designs :)

I will post my current 'design' ideas later tonight. Any ideas if we can use the UKGSER logo? I'll do both designs and put them up (when I've worked out how....)

You can ask Paul the site owner but normaly you only get to use the logo for Charity and UKGSer events plus the odd one off.

If all is in order :augie and you get / make samples, picture's would br useful!

In May there will be many new lines added to the UKGSer merchandise section.

These will include T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Sweatshirts, Hoody Tops, Lined Fleeces, Baseball Caps and Beanie Hats.

All items will top quality garments embroidered with the site logo + an option to have your site name included.

So regarding using the site logo on yours the answer has to be no I'm afraid.

Will they come in a GS size (xxxl)
 
Ok no worries on the logo - I dont want to compete with anyone, I'm just keen to try out some design ideas.
Here are some first thoughts - all would be heavyweight black or white any size.

The last time I bought a T Shirt from a guy in Liverpool, one sleeve was shorter than the other two...:thumb

I'd be interested in a Large GS sillouhette (just the letters 'GS') on the front with a Gecko crawling across. happy to see some ideas of what you can do along these lilnes. Maybe also have a large gecko motif with the 'GS' letters superimposed somehow. Definitely be up to but buy a few of those if you can design something .

Purely as a matter of accademic interest, can you stop people adding 'UKGSer.com ' on things if they want to? Obviously we are all gentleman here (err well mainly) and wouldn't dream of using it without permission. Assuming you haven't trademarked the UKGSer, does copyright stop other people using it?
 
I'm happy to side step the issue of 'ownership' of logos and websites. there is plenty of interest and design opportunity without upsetting anyone. I'm going to go ahead with the original 'silhouette' option (minus forum references) I thought a light grey shirt with a dark grey outline might work well. I'll run a couple of samples and get some photos up.
What do people think?
