Went into BMW Manchester for a price on a 6000 mile service on my gsa1200 and had a quote for £366.
Does this sound expensive????

Are all these dealers roughly the same price? or does anyone know where i can get it done a bit cheeper?

My 1200 SE was done early July at Pidcocks... including FD oil change, brake fluid change , adjusted a tappet ( apparently) and it came to £270 with a free loan of a bike to pootle around on for a few hours ;)

Cannon Braintree

£219 for 6000 service, loan bike and a spare 1ltr bottle of oil, they also did the brake re-call.

All depends on whether its just a 6k service or a 6k and annual service.

On my 09 1200GSA In April it was £280 for a 6k and annual at Bahnstormers and £330 at Vines, both with a loaner.

Vines extended their 10 to 15% off offer as i booked in March so went for them :thumb2

Sounds very expensive to me.

Cotswold BMW recently did my 1200GSA’s combined 12,000mile & annual service.
£253 total.

sounds a bit rich... but its all pennies vs the issues past the warranty in a few years mate...

Buy the extension early... Or roll into a new bike every 2 years...

Pidcock's did the 6,000 mile and the annual together on my 59 place GS, which was 2.25 hours labour for £150 plus the various parts and lubricants for £74.49 with VAT on top = £263.78. I got an 800 GS (in KTM look-a-like colours!) loan bike too.
