I just took my 1200GS today for it's 5000/6000 mile service. I bought it off BMW Park Lane and it was the first grey model in the country. This is the second time I have used them now; the first being to change the tyres to 020's.

I was pleasantly surprised as having read earlier threads I was slightly nervous of the outcome.

Peter dealt with me and everything went according to plan - they even fitted my recently acquired tobinators for free! I also took the liberty of getting the bike valeted and I must say it's like having a brand new bike.

Well done guys...keep up the good work. :thumb2

Just had my 12,000 mile service done at BMW Battersea.

Since SPC closed down, I was owner without dealer so wasn't sure where to go. Did want to give Bahnstormer a try but their lead times are a little long at the moment. As I really thought highly of Dean from his time at SPC, I decided to book the service there.

The booking process was easy. A few emails (my preferred way of doing things), I was booked in with a loan bike.

I got excellent service from Dean and his team today. The bike has been nicely cleaned :D

I would use them again :thumb

btw ... for those of you that are concerned about the negative stories. I am sure they were real and valid. But bear this in mind ... As I did not take the loan bike but opted to wait for the bike I had time to wonder round. This workshop must be the busiest of all the motorrad workshops. They had 9 ramps and it was all fully utilised and I am told it is always busy even in winter. So if you look at percentages ... you will get a few complaints.

I would recommend that if you have used them and are not happy. Contact Dean directly. I know he will do his best to sort you out. That to me is what matters. We all make mistakes, it is how we deal with it afterwards that distinguishes those who are crap and those who you can trust.

Echo your comments Novice.

I get the impression that they have significantly expanded the workshops as bmw have sold more kit & my experiences over the last 18 months have been positive.

Whether they will go back to being "patchy" as bm sell even more is of course another question:)

Helpful bunch overall!
