Right then, I'm looking to transfer data for the start and end of byways into waypoints for my quest. The start and end data comes as is in the following photo.
So what i'm asking, you technical gods, is how's the easiest way of doing this.
If that is National grid then in Mapsource got to Edit select preferences then click on the tab in the pop up box as per the picture below and select National grid.
You'll then be able to create the two waypoints as per the Sticky about waypoints at the top of this forum
I assume that you want waypoints in goegraphic coordinates ie lat/lon. There is a converter on the OS website which should allow you to go from National Grid (as per your diagram) to Lat Lon and back again.
Got them by following Forry's link from this thread to Northumberlands online Definitive Map. I'm still struggling to convert the start/end data though as, i don't know what format it's in. I'm still waiting for a reply to an e-mail i sent to the maps 'owner'.

Spent 4 hrs last night checking the online map for local byways getting the hang of the controls now.I'll give this way a try and let you know how i get on
