Jockser and I were over in the west last weekend doing the final run through for the Achill rideout.

The view as we head out of Westport;

Past White Strand;

Then along to Silver Strand where you can ride right down onto the huge beach. Should get some good pics here. :augie :)

Then we head back inland towards mountains

And lakes

Nice quiet hilly roads

More lakes

And if we have time a few good looking tracks to explore

We intend leaving the Achill Island Hotel at 10-15am. At a leisurely pace and with a lunch stop included we should return to the hotel around 5pm.

When's the King of the hill competion had to leave early last year.I'll have to show Tim how it's done ;)

The off-road run is in a state of chaos at the moment but hopefully we'll have enough for a couple of hours worth by the time youse arrive. The plan is that both road & off-road runs finish at Minaun so that us softies can watch you nutters havin' a go :bounce1

It'll be very similar except there'll be no gravel at all, at all ;) Some N roads, some R roads & some boreens with an optional play in the sand :bounce1

I'm jealous as well. :(

Wish I could be there but the wife is about to give birth so travelling now might result in a divorce. :eek:

Enjoy Achill. :thumb2 Maybe next year for me. :beerjug:
