The Seafood Shack in Ullapool, near the Ceilidh Place hotel.
The lady who runs the Shack gets the seafood direct from her brother's fishing boat in the harbour. Can't get fresher than that!

Singleton of Muir of Ord Distillery Visitor Centre has been renovated to a very high standard and now includes a cafe/ bar open from 11am -5pm serving whisky of course, but also cocktails, bottled beers, coffees and snacks. Prices are not outrageous and it is very well staffed and dog friendly.

The distillery itself doesn't look much from the outside and you could easily ride past without thinking it is worth a visit. The carpark is currently being re-modeled but there is plenty of parking right in front of the main entrance.
