Fair weather biker or what...... the first sign of rain and he sticks a fake nail in his tyre and calls his mate to take him home :D

Likewise, was wet n wild, but us Northerners can take it!!:D
A brilliant weekend, great craic and despite the dodgy start, I loved the off road run, although am feeling the aches and pains now!!
Many thanks to Ronno and Christine! :clap

Yup, great weekend, thanks guys :beerjug:

The location is hard to beat, we'll be back

Run home was fine, short and easy though a lot of standing water, some impressive showers blowing through

Just in a little moist from the showers but blown dry by the winds on the ferry.

Looks like changing from the 8.20 cat from Troon to the earlier one from Cairnryan was a smart move, seems like it may not be running due to the freak weather conditions in the Irish Sea.

Ended up on the 4.30 ferry rather than the 3.00 thanks to a parade in Girvan, just like home but not a sash in sight!

Big thanks to all those involved in the organisation! :thumb

That has to be the worst 370 miles I have ever ridden.

Gale force winds, the bike was at 45 degrees coming over Shap summit and weaving between the first two lanes

:nod

Kev said the same. He arrived home around 6.30 pm, struggled to get through the door, totally exhausted after battling with the wind and rain.

He hid in T/Bay services with Rob Farmer for a while and met a KTM rider who'd just bounced off a car with the side winds coming over Shap

Blimey ... glad to hear you all made it home safe and sound. :thumb2

Big, big thanks to Ronno for organising a fantastic weekend :clap:clap :thumb

Feck that wind.

I could cope with the downpours and everything else, but that wind drove mental.

Bumped into POG on the M6, and he looked like he'd just been slapped about.

Glad everyone's home safely though.

You and POG both past me in the recovery truck ...looked like you were enjoying it !!!!:D

Great weekend, home safe and sound and a fair bit drier than the way home. Thank goodness I had acclimatised myself to the rain taking down the tent this morning, ha. Hats off to Ronno and the gang for a great weekend, great company and obviously the craic was ninety last night watching Johnny and Tash bidding against each other.

Sorry I never got a chance for many goodbyes but by the time I'd packed and climbed aboard the steed I was already pissed wet through and ready for the road. See you all again hopefully very soon, cheers,
