Here are some 'ride out' shots, taken with the cheapie 'bikecam' camera.

For those that don't know this part of the world it may give a feeling for the varied scenery that we enjoy.

After the Photo Shoot we set off for Banchory, via Edzell, Fettercairn and the 'Cairn o' Mount' road (B974).

Well, that was the Saturday run. Probably far too many crap photos but it was a bit of an experiment. It was a great day, warm and with dry roads - quite different from last year.

Sunday was different, I may post a few pics later :D

Not many pictures from me i'm afraid as I left my camera at the hotel for the off road run:blast

Absolutely brilliant weekend, It took me about 1 1/2 hours to get from Banchory (where I live and where I believe you all had lunch on the road ride) to Glen cova. I quickly settled into my room which I had booked last minute due to a cancelation and had some home made Lasagne - superb. I them met up with old and new friends and was treated to an impromptu Whiskey tasting session by the one and only AndyCam. Tuned in has me hooked on Pear Cider which influenced my pallet but I did get a hint of Banana in the odd dram;). The session was to much for poor Andy and he never made it to the end. Someone wrote his tent number on his heed to remind him where he was to be sleeping.

True to fashion I missed my breakfast againn and was starving on the off road run. The ride out was just great with everyone giving 110%. Apologies again to Waldin for nearly taking him out on the blast back to the Spittal on the off road run. A small tech problem with Orlas bike was quickly diagnosed by herself back at the Spitall, I wished I had seen the bike getting towed off the track but too many cooks and all that. Anyway back to Glen Clova for some more craic and off to see Ronno playing Mum at the whiskey tasting. Many thanks to Andy Cam who gave another superb session (and stayed awake this time). Andy's knowledge of fruits, toffee, spices and sausages is unbelievable and he knows a bit about whiskey too. They all tasted like methanol to me but i'm still a novice. Nothing was as high Octane as the Vodka RobMack was distributing later at Ronnos chalet, who needs diesel:rolleyes: Next was the raffle and auction where there were some superb prizes and items offered. Our resident Auctioneer was not shy in bidding himself, neither was his missus but thankfully they were saved by the bell;)

Many thanks to Aiden and Mandy for offering not once but twice to knock me up a meal as i managed to miss my evening meal on the Saturday night too (as well as breakfast again on Sunday:eek: - I don't know why I even order it).

Bobs Big Band was superb and I had a really good night. These weekends just get better.

Sunday mornings weather was attrocious and Mings master plan kicked into action with the arrival of the recovery vehicle - It took me no time to get to the Cairn'o'mount but then the heavens opened again and rain like i've not seen in a long time just burst onto the scene, i'm so lucky I only had about 15 miles of it until I got back to Banchory at about 1300 hrs.

Not long now until the next one which may be my last of the year as I am working litterally all the rest:(:(

See you in Tipperary:clap:clap

I woke Andy up on Sunday morning, in plenty time for his breakfast.

His problem may have come from the fact that we didnt manage to 'break' into the hotel until about 4.30am after post-party drinks in Ronnies chalet.
I just happened to enquire if the hotel door might be open this late.
It was not.
I thought to myself ... maybe I shouldnt have taken the piss out of the campers earlier on. At least they were inside something.
We tried every door .. rung the bell .. to no avail.
Just about ready to throw pebbles at the windows .....when,
Andy eventually managed to break-in via the fire escape.

Thanks Andy.
