Vango Omega 250 4kg and up in about 8-10. Grand wee porch area to sit when its pissing and you need to cook.

The porch floor is cool, turns up into the tent to make sure it stays dry i.e you step into it

I use a Vango Tango 200, lightweight, compact, storage compartments in the inner tent walls, front canopy from the front door, up in 5 minutes, sleeps 2. Survived a few wet nights without a leak and packing in the rain.

£45 in a sale from Blacks in late 2018, sadly no longer available should have bought the 300.

It works fine in calm weather. And is all but useless in a proper gale of wind.
I camped fine with mine for a couple of years until I encountered a gale up at ULAPOOL
Changed it for a hilliberg ,,,,, that works
Hi Boatman. Remember you said I would be looking for a Hilleberg after that washout at Portsoy? I found one on Gumtree the very next week, nearly new and less than half-price. Brilliant piece of kit but my advice is to check out the second hand market. They are generally well looked after and a good buy.
