I sure hope so. It seems there were a lot of lightnings just before I got home. Lets hope the thunder doesn't come via the mail.

Strange thing: just at the exit where I left Gecko and Rabbitson the road was flooded. I hope you did get home reasonably dry. I think it was very local, because only 2 Km further the road was dry again.

By the way: my pictures are HERE

What did I miss ??? Did he come off ?

Didn't take a corner very well, but it was a great recovery. How he kept it upright in that field I'll never know.

And just to echo the sentiments, it was a great day out. First time I've been riding with so many tossers. :p

Great day out! Looking forward to the next run

Well done Richie and, unless I'm much mistaken, well done Judge.

Can the gent with the rear facing camera send me an email so that I can send him a blank CD or two and a reply paid envelope for a copy of the days riding in reverse?

Cheers Richard

Thanks Richie...

for a great day out, excellent luch and as ever great company.

I'm just negotiating a weekend pass with SWMBO for 8/9 May - hope to join you then!

Did anybody take a picture with me on it? I think I saw one of the back of my head - yes I know it's my best feature but it would be nice to have some evidence that I did go to France, and didn't spend Sunday down the pub.

Just got a phone call from home: the thunder came by mail today :( in form of a letter that I drove too fast.

I'll have a look at it this evening and let you guys know what's in there.

Surely only one of you will get the PV. (Process Verbal). Happened to me once two bikes on the photo nothing happened. Luckily as I was doing 80 in a 50 and the other guy was at lease 110.

Good luck Peter.

Bad News there then Peter, I was hoping it was the weather as Gecko suggested!

Regarding the weather, it was fine until I got to North Brabant then it started hailing like crazy and along came a really strong wind for about ten minutes (I kid you not, I have never seen anything like it in Europe). Then it suddenly stopped and nothing else happened, very bizarre. Unfortunately during this time I needed to go across a long bridge, which was pretty frightening.

Made it home safe anyway and was glad to just veg-out on the sofa after a long weekend!!

Nice time though. See you guys again soon.

Some pics in the restaurant :D

.....................Sorry to hear about you getting caught with a nasty speeding fine Peter :(..........they don't mess about do they?..........how much did they sting you for, the minimum 150 euros??? :(
