Received my prize today
It took them six weeks, but I received my prize today.
You remember: my picture was taken while I was doing 139 kmh where only 120 kmh is allowed.
Surprise, suprise, it is only 60 Euros, although the minimum fine is normally 150 Euros (usually even more). Probably my explanation about the reason for speeding was more or less accepted. I wrote that we had increased speed to clear the fast lane to allow an ambulance or police car to pass that was on its way to an accident that had happened a few km further down the road. I think it helped a bit. It saved me at least 90 Euros

Good Job Peter. € 90 saved is € 90 you can spend on something much more useful.....I will have a look and see what I can sell you for € 90 , I must have something

Yes, but it only worked because there was that accident a few kms further down the road.

I remember it well..... bloody windy day too - trying to ride up right was quite tricky with a force 9 gale howling across the flatlands !!
