Didn't manage to take many photo's from the day, camera got a bit moist & stopped working right. Anyone got any pics to help remember one of the best little rideouts I've done on the BMW.

Here's some that came out ok when the lens wasn't fogged over.

Once again I would like to thank all the people involved in organising such a fun day. Good pace even with an extra break due to a KTM being stubbon & not wanting to carry on for a while. Great bunch of folks as well & had a right laugh in between moments of slight fear (only due to 1st time out proper with 1150GSA).

Here are a few that I took.

Great day was had by all, nice to meet all of you and thanks to Tina and Forry for an enjoyable day.

I've started to notice that the only time I fall off my bike, Forry is always close by! Has this happened to anyone else?

Cheers, Ian

Hiya cav,

Just to help you remember how the ride went and how easy it was for you. A few piccys of the earlier part of the run with the first downwards section. Which I found particularly non easy due to lack of rear braking action.

Big thumbs up for our aussie mate doing the run with an aniki on the rear of his GSA.

You were still in your pit when I left this morning hope all is OK in sunny Cove.
cheers

Nice pics Ian & Clive, actually looks rougher than I remember on that downhill.

Sorry I missed you leaving today Clive, I was having a little lie in. :D Must of just missed you (maybe) as I heard a few bikes leave as I got up. Then it lashed it down with rain till about 11:20. I left at 11:45 & had sunshine & dryness all the way home.:D

Oh & this pic.......

.Almost captures how fast he went down there. Fair play to keep that upright.

Thanks to all of you for looking after Denise! :thumb
I only got back mid afternoon and had a mildly worrying text about fords, flooding and a dead bike. I will disable that kill switch before next time, I promise. :augie
I have set up her own screen name on here, but she hasn't had chance to use it yet.

The First Hill

I found the the high first gear on the GS coupled with the Chocolate fireguard of a rear brake combined to ensure I was out of control most of the time.

Nothing like the DRZ

Sandra and I would like to says many thanks to Tina, Forrey and Possu for looking after us on our first UKGSer ride out, and in fact our first UKGSer meeting.

Sorry this post is little late as we have only just arrived home. No, we didn't get lost or fall off, we did a diversion through Aberystwyth for a couple of days.

Hi to everyone we met, we were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

Stu

Thanks too from Jill and I for a good if eye opening day. The Wales trails proved a little too much for our skill, fitness experience and nerve levels

Looking at the photos we missed some of the more encouraging trails, but we did have an enjoyable ride back to Llangollen with Stu and Sandra, stopping off for coffee on the way.

Thanks Tina, Forrey and Steve (especially for all your help and encouragement with Jill). :bow:thumb2

See you all at the next gathering.

Val & Jill.
