English and Irish seagulls

Watch out as half way across on the ferry ride you can see the seagulls change colour as it gets to far for the English ones to fly out the Irish ones take over and English fly back.

Colours the Irish being a lighter gray

I`m sure JPR knows better and calls me a numpty again, but you watch out for for it you ferry riders fascinating stuff. :thumb
 
Not that simple, I think........there are two species that occur on both sides of the Irish sea, though perhaps in different numbers.....
