Wassup, don't want to get the Fantic dirty:p

Excellent, the Scott is the best trial in the world IMO, I may have been their that year. Whats more remarkable is that the sections have hardly changed since that film was made and riders on modern machines with modern techniques find them difficult.

Thats a nice bit of film, like the fast stuff across the moors but some of those really rocky rivers look a bit

'Someone'....bought a new bike today:augie

new bike for me ...

well finally ive got a nice tidy 240 fantic to start doing a few twinshock events on. ive been out twice practicing as ive not ridden trials for 25 YEARS :D and now know how unfit i am .
it needs a new clutch and brake shoes which i have and also need to move the pegs back and down aswell as wider

im off to eastern Belguim at easter weekend to ride a big 2 day classic trial there , god knows how i got roped into it but i have :blast:friday

should be a laugh if nothing else, ill take some pictures and try and post them here , its just so bloody difficult on this site for numptys :comfort

what a great bike though, always wanted a 240:bounce1

now where are those photos...............................:p

got up early to get away first and beat the queues . twas a great event with brilliant rides between sections. the guy on the ossa is my mate. there's none of me unfortunately definitely not with my feet up anyway.
fingers crossed we will be doing more events this year abroad. the 240 got sold but with a bit of luck I have a 300 in the pipeline. :green gri

Twin shocks have a massive following and I can't quite get my head round why.

Under powered, under suspended, overweight and break down often, must be an old man thing ;)

Definitely not if you get them set up right

My mate has a 240 Fantic with a later 305 engine in it, rear Rockshox and sorted fork internals.Framer has been tweaked too

It’s a feisty thing with loads of power and great suspension-better to ride than his newer 2020 Evo 250

Nowadays for competition the Twinshocks are right up there
