Went for a stroll around and drooled over this beautiful machine of Cookies:

Watched Hamsters playing in the evening, but it all went a bit fuzzy after that, must have had a dodgy doughnut.:augie

Saturday and time to play and get muddy. Misjudged the depth of this puddle and got very stuck. Johnny tried to help pull me out but it was stuck.

Johnny set off back to Rugby club to get help.:) He suggested I tried to flag down a 4x4 to help me get pulled out of the mud. Just after he left I managed to flag down this passing vehicle:

This looked just the job for recovering a stuck GS.:)

The two army guys told me that their job was pulling stuck vehicles off the plain so they were happy to help:thumb2.

They are more used to pulling out army trucks etc but admitted that "this bike is fecking heavy isn't it!". They needed a large mechanical winch to slowly drag it out of the mud.

Back at base I thought I must be in with chance for "Dirtiest Bike":

But then the sidecar turned up and he was dirty all over and rightly took the Ben Jones Trophy. It was fun entering and various other suitable entrants included Mav's HP2.

And finally, on Monday morning, Oblertone rides away from my place on the XT. This proves it was still 100% complete when it left my place:D

I first thought you'd bought some spray on mud and given it the full tin.

Looks like you got away lightly judging by the size of that "puddle" :bow

Proff is demonstrating an extreme case of "Boxer-Owner's Shin".......
