Lush

'Lush' indeed....

Two great bikes, very well represented in these ad's.

600 gone....watching that 400......;)

XR...R

Last year I bought a XR650R from a chap in north Wales '57 plate 6000 miles. Rode it last summer then stripped it for titivating and it' s going back together now.

Quite possibly the best bike I've owned in terms of pure enjoyment and hooliganism factor. I can't think of anything that would come close for the 8 mile single track ride to work and back over Exmoor. Bit noisy for all that peace and quiet out there but holy shemoly what fun! There was one on this forum with nil mileage and mint that I should have had but sadly too slow off the mark as usu.

XR600 might be a bit slow after but still a good fast Greenlander.

Fluff

I've only just spotted this thread.

It was me wot done it! (Bought the XR6) :D

Obviously the condition was like new and brakes, suspension etc all perfect order.

After not much more use she got harder to start (they're never great starters) and one day wouldn't spark at all. After a coil & CDI swap it turned out to be the stator. It's a known thing that they fail when used or not used, but with a new stator she goes really well.
