Done a few hundred miles now with the new Screen, and i'm very impressed with it.

Its a few inches higher and wider than the OEM screen and it has extra winglets that seem to work well.
It provides excellent wind protection for my whole upper body, including my arms, whereas my arms and shoulder were in the breeze before.
I'm 5' 8" but i can see clearly over the screen on its lowest settings ok, and its optically perfect to look through (and its slightly tinted).

I'll keep the Wunderlich screen on for winter, but i'll probably use the OEM screen next summer, as it might get a bit too hot behind the Wunderlich.

Hi there
The screen looks good
Just wondering were you got it and how much it was
Great to get back the RT from the summer layoff

Yes, and they have them in stock.
I bought mine from Adventure Bike shop, but they were more expensive than Nippy.
Yes but...you had the reassurance of knowing that if there was an issue a) you have a phone number to call, b) Cliff (or anyone else) at ABS would be polite and talk to you like you are a human being and, c) actually resolve your issue. Oh..and if it was their error would probably apologise as well. This is called 'customer service' - a concept Nippy has yet to grasp!

Yes, I'll have to agree with you there on all points. ABS were a pleasure to deal with and I did get next day delivery for extra £16 it cost.

Any extra noise or buffetting?

It uses the same logo as the BMW larger screen.

I found the OEM screen to be pretty good, and I didn't experience any noise or buffeting.
But the new screen is better and gives much more wind protection, especially to my arms and shoulders.

However, I will probably fit the OEM screen again next summer, when I need less protection.

I've just ordered one for my 2011 RT, not sure if it'll be slightly different than yours, I'll update with a pic when it arrives. I'm 6'1" and fairly long in the back and the standard screen is just a little short.

I believe it's same as the one on my 06RT. I hope you got the Marathon model, that one was excellent - I'm also 6'1".

Hi,

Im interested in one of these as I'm finding the OEM screen is leaving my arms and hands when riding below 5 deg C. Any chance of photos from the side of the bike?

anybody else having issues with cold feet on this bike?

When mine arrives I'll post some photos, my feet are always cold be they sat in front of the telly or on the bike :-)

View from the side. I'll try to take some better pics tomorrow.
And no problems with cold feet for me.
