You guys may not know that TFL are proposing a ultra low emission zone starting September 2020 , I know it seems a long way off but I bet a few of you still plan to be riding your 1150's then . Basically it appears that they plan to charge motorcycles made before 2007 £12.50 per day to enter the zone (the same zone as the congestion charge) . This proposal will affect all vehicles - not just 1150s.

If you can prove you bike meets the standard is it exempt.

It isn't clear if the date or the standard is the trigger for the charge.:nenau
 
Hi it is a mix of both, all manufacturers had to sell machines that complied by that date but there is an allowance for "early adopters"
 
Yeah I was a bit confused about that too, seems logical that if you can show your bike is compliant then you shoudlnt be charged despite it being manufactured prior to 2007. I think twin spark 1150s are Euro III but earlier single sparks aren't - anyone able to confirm this?
