Come on now .... put the "Y" back in the title !!

Sadly, I'm on the wrong side of the chippie, and will prob be doing a bit of overtime in the morning concerned.

But I should be ok to meet up at the venue, so count me in for lunch.

Sounds like a plan.. Will join on route, weather permitting :)

Was hoping to make this one as it's on my doorstep, but just been called in as super-sub at the Angling Show in Swords that weekend.

Standing in for a demo fly tyer who dropped a breeze block on his fingers today and busted them. Difficult to tie flies with a plaster cast on yer hand, I guess :D Any Dubs or anglers from around the country not at Ballynahinch are welcome to drop by for a cuppa and a chat in Swords :thumb2

Got the month wrong, Swords event was last weekend :blush:blush Must be the onset of Old-Timers Disease........ :rob

Free on 22nd March at the mo :thumb2

Wee bump to remind youse that this is still on :aidan

Full details to follow shortly but it'll be a 10.00 start in Dublin, tea in Carrickmacross about 11.30 & lunch in FishCity at 14.00

I'll need an idea of numbers by next Wed to ensure it's worth their while to open early
If you're coming but haven't posted yet will you please do so over the next week :thumb

Should be a yes , depending on Circuit of Ireland prep (status) ................ in middle of twin cam engine rebuild , and not all is going to plan !

Jockser, I'm definitely working that day, but the venue is on my work's doorstep.

I will be on the bike and can meet with the guys at 2 - 2.30pm.

So, book me in for a fish Supper, with loads of salt n vinegar!

Sorry I can't meet up on route, but looking forward to seeing a few familiar faces.......

Also, might lead a wee posey to the Primrose for a pint before the route home :friday

Grand job lads, the more the merrier :thumb

Despite what the first post says the start is at the Topaz behind Bewleys Hotel at Newlands Cross. If you're coming from town or the M50 keep left for the slip road & go under the overpass towards Clondalkin.

We'll be leaving there at 10.00 sharp so if you need coffee or breakfast arrive a bit earlier. As usual 'full tank / empty bladder' is the order of the day. We should be in Carrickmacross (Greenmount Restaurant on the main street, opposite the Garda Station) for about 11.30 and at Fish City by 14.00 so if you're joining along the route you should be able to figure out what time we'll be passing.

I've changed the route (attached below) very slightly from the one we were supposed to be doing in December to now include the Louth / Meath Photo Rally point (it'd be rude not to ! )

And for those dithering - the weather's looking great for Sunday :bounce1:bounce1
