So people.....

Do we want a similar vein to this years?

A choice of long/medium/bimble seemed to work well - with some very able leaders (not me) stepping up to lead

Anyone with a suggestion, pipe up:thumby:

I enjoyed showing people the lesser known parts of the north last year so will offer it again.
Will plan a long ride for the Saturday and a shorter for Sunday.
Some easy GS friendly offroad will be included.
Paul.

Hi JB - thinking about a circuit round Swaledale, Leyburn, Coverdale, Kettlewell, Halton Gill, Ribblesdale and back in to Dent (or something like that). Usual medium pace - you know the sort of thing :thumb2

Will have to recce before May and sort out stops etc.

Perhaps run it twice or reverse the route for Sunday.

That would be great Fran, I've heard about your recent ride leader skills in Ireland - you always do a grand job

Reverse would be spot on

Check me in

Hi On the door step (South Yorkshire) marked it on the calendar, camping or B&B either would suit. Keep me updated please. great

For info. JB I've agreed with Magnet that if she does this on the first day rather than reverse on day two I'll do one up into Teesdale for a bit of variety if that's acceptable Mr Organiser?

That's great HtC - sounds good to me and a Teesdale one would work, up over the Stang and back via Brough & KStephen

Looks like I'll be.................:Motomartin

As much as I love a long ride, Hugo and I will sign up for the shortest ride, unless someone wants to babysit or walk up the mountain with the little fellow. 3 long days on a bike might be a bit selfish. :)

Early ride reconnaissance yesterday in the pissing rain. 4 degrees in Weardale. This was Teesdale at a balmy 6 degrees. Still awesome roads though:D

Sorry Micky,JB, I will have to withdraw my services.

I did put in the main thread that I can no longer attend this year (gutted). Going for an op and won't be recovered in time.

Steve

It was a great ride with good company, forgot about the pannier falling off.
Andy and I are formulating a cunning plan for the day.
