Weathers kinda nice - time to ride!

Mr Aigen I presume ....

I'm out of commission with a farked lower back but still managing to do some gentle farkling on the 690 :D

Did you see Maureen, she went for a run there this afternoon ?

mspenz - you is correct :thumb2

I did think it was your chariot that was heading the other way as I was prancing around the road leading to that place.

And people call me mad for riding there, and theirs your Boss out RUNNING on the stuff  :thumby: :bow

Some great photos in a fab country, brings back memories of many a happy tour. But sad to say not since old Krankie cast her wicked spell. Any of the good old remote bars left standing or probably more to the point how many have fallen??

In search of snow . . .

Finally got to take the bike for a longer ride than just back and forth to work for the first time in weeks.
This is The Macallans new visitor centre – looks more like Tele-Tubbie land from the outside, but apparently the inside experience is something else.

Seems to match the contours of the local hills when viewed from this angle

I was determined to find some snow – guess this place will do

Absolutely mobbed – every car park was chocker

And this is the lastest distillery on Speyside – but they just knock out gin from this one, so no waiting years before you can sample the product, if that’s your tipple

After a really shitty week . . .

. . . . I went out for a brief blat this morning and decided that dirt was the order of the day, seeing as it was mainly dry . . .

A friend and I were out as well for my first proper run on the new GS. Great bike for putting miles on and surprisingly capable in the corners too!

Got the obligatory photo as we passed through Bellabeg...

Well, after over 400 miles since yesterday morning, I think I can safely say that the 21 year old Alp is fairly sorted. Took a 120 mile run over to the Red Squirrel camp site at Glencoe Saturday morning and met up with a fellow Alp rider.

We them covered around 150 miles of small dirty roads and some forest tracks before dinning at the Clachaig Inn.

Bugger Hagrids Hut!! The bar in The Clachaig would be good enough for me! Developed a serious headache or two over the years in there!

The fact that you can see the pub all the way down the shitty path next to Clachaig Gully and you are gasping for drink is awful!

Great pix and a great weekend! Thanks for sharing.

G.

I’ve a pic somewhere of the hut they used, in situ....a few of us from this very site were doing the 3 national peaks back in about 2003/4 and stayed at the Clachaig....anyway, as you were.
Transalps have always been one of those bikes I’ve always thought I should own. No frills, just ride.

The Bhuchaille

En route to Yodagoat's Sunart rally on Friday. Bloody cold but it made for stunning air quality. Never seen the Bhuchaille look better.
