How good was the weather this evening! Still 22 Degrees at 6.30. Brill.

With a pair of new tyres needing scrubbed in, I headed for Moffat via Biggar. What a great road the A701 is.

After around 25 miles with my best IAM L Plate behaviour hat on in RAIN mode . . . . . . . . I switched to ROAD mode, then DYNAMIC mode and thoroughly enjoyed a wee 120 mile blast there and back before dinner (and grass cutting). Certainly blew away a few cobwebs.

On the roller coaster road north to Breich cross roads I enjoyed the sun from my left side casting a perfect shadow of me and the bike rolling along happily. Happy Days.

Shocking today wasn't it?

Had a great run over the glen to Deeside.

There were crowds at Crathie waiting to greet me as I passed, only being distracted for a moment by some old biddy on her way to church. They all seemed pleased to see me.

On to Inverurie for a club lunch and then back out to brave the heat....27 degrees in Inverurie! Hottest I've been this side of the north sea this year!

Then down to Bunkry and over the Cairn o'Mount....stunning views....the purple heather really showing now....through Fetters and back along Strathmore...27 again! Great run....sorry no pix....too busy enjoying myself, and I knew you wouldn't want to see my sausage egg and chips .......

Hot here as well, stunning day at Thunder

Portsoy tonight I think, campsite looks good and weather staying settled

At Knockhill yesterday, probably hottest day I have ever experienced there, probably around 28C ish.
Race track surface was measured at 36C, records being broken nearly every race. :clap

Nope, close but no cigar. I was on my 800 and stayed east of Elgin. Probably my brother on his blue XT600 who was in the area I think around then

Cracking evening in Portsoy

Fine wee set of switchbacks that lead down to that Church. :rob

it was one of the visit points for the Dundee Bikers competition this year.

Clyde sea lochs trail was lovely on a bike, no one around to get in the way. Joins up at Arrochar, then off to Oban to get Langoustine on the pier. Not a bad day out
