Run will start from outside the hotel at 10.00 sharp & we'll be using the 'drop-off system' to ensure nobody gets lost
If you need fuel, available in the village, please fill up beforehand as the run will be leaving in the opposite direction

There'll (naturally ;) ) be a morning & afternoon tea / comfort stop. Lunch stop is the Connemara Lake Hotel (14.00 or shortly afterwards) in the middle of Oughterard if anyone wants to drop by.

This year's Saturday Run is about 75% new so don't be saying 'been there, done that' :rob

A great day out, thanks.

Guys,

Thanks to JR, James and Mary and all concerned for a great weekend!

The ride-out yesterday was a pleasure, the hotel looked after us well and my spin back home via Galway and the Slieve Blooms was delightful!

Photos at this link - mostly scenery: https://goo.gl/photos/tHiK4LbmCBuYG548A

All we need now is to know why "the Irish name for Maam Cross is "An Teach Doite"or "The Burnt House"

Best wishes to all,

Bin

Maam Cross, or as the Irish signs display 'An Teach Doite'- the burned house (a reference to the Bogman's Ball event where steaks were cooked on shovels and fire was often the result!).

Hi all thanks for all who were in leenaun and especially Laurence for standing in for jochen at the last moment . Thankfully the weather held up and we had a good alternative run sat 😀 .Thanks again to jochen for all the help he gave in organising everything . Regards James :beerjug:

Must'n't forget best of luck to JR and Con C. for upcoming treatments for their collarbone and shoulder injuries. Heal well, heal fast!!

It was great to meet up with old friends again. I know the preparation for this came at a financial and physical cost to some, I do appreciate all the time and sacrafice that went into it.

As always, the hotel was magnificent.... food was excellent and I can't believe the value of the weekend.

Stay safe and look forward to our next meet.
