Just preparing a tablet pc for 2nd hand sale.

Do I make a change back to factory settings?
or
Do I simply remove start up password?

How do I do either of these?

(My user account on the pc says I am Administrator and Password Protected).

Thanks

I'm certainly no computer expert but i'd pop it back to factory settings, my tame windows geek by passed my admin password in a few seconds, i couldn't believe it.

Admin windows password isn't worth having if you have direct access. As above it takes seconds to bypass.

Anyway set it to factory and if you ever had anything confidential on it then hunt down something like Ccleaner to write over the blank parts of the drive. Just because you have deleted something doesn't mean it is deleted.

Factory settings, no question.
How to do that....Depends on type of tablet.
Look in Google " how reset to factory setting [make of tablet]"
I'm sure there will be lots of 'how to' tutorials for you.
