Head protectors

The paint on the cylinder head protector on my 2011 gsa has started to peel off.
What is the paint code for these or is there a better option

Get them powder coated in a colour to your taste?

colour options for powder coating are a bit more limited than rattle cans, and no matter what coating you use it won't stand a falling over incident. I know this for a fact.

Rattle cans are cheap and handy for the next time it falls over. Don't get me moaning about crash bars.

I have resprayed mine with Hammerite Smoothrite silver (ensure it is the smooth rite). It's a perfect match and far more durable than the standard paint. I also used this on my front engine cover 4 years ago and still looking good after all-weather riding

On a slight aside, my LH rocker cover got cracked when the unprotected area landed on a kerbstone. The replacement (used) needed painting but the heat crinkled the new paint. I quite like the look so will be repainting it with a crinkle finish heat resistant paint.
