Just done the first 600 miles and first service day of the lockdown so I’ve now got a serious itch.
Went out for a ride on mine yesterday, to an open space to meet up with Dad. First ride since the lockdown and only the second ride since getting it in March. I know I’ve got new bike rose tinted specs but this is such a nice bike. Quick enough for me, comfy for my gangly frame, lovely for pottering around the lanes on but still does motorway miles with ease and no buffeting.

Bit of a cop out from Yamaha me thinks, give it a new paint scheme and call it a rally with really nothing new on it.

Sorry if this has been posted before, I was watching a few videos comparing the KTM790, BMW850 and XT700 and they just seemed to be done by idiots who did not really test them hard off road and said of course that the KTM was best followed by BMW then lastly the Yamaha.
Then I watched this video, the guy is like an Australian tosser and seems to ride very well. If I was in the market, he has done a good job of selling it to me.
