700 Tenere

And now, from a much less talented rider.... :p

I adjusted the rear suspension sag on mine tonight. I weigh 98kg with gear and lid on. I think the bike is set up for a much lighter rider, as I had to increase the preload from 10 (stock) to 20 clicks (out of 24) to get the right sort of figure, subject to a ride to check it out. And that’s just me on the bike. Add a lot of luggage and/or a pillion and I think I’d need a different spring.

I'm 102 kilos soaking wet out the shower and I've never touched mine yet have never felt the need to, go figure.

What happens if it’s better, by adjusting the suspension??
Adjusting the clickers won’t bite you

Or...if it's not broken, why try and fix it.

Adjusting the clickers, will make it better for you, as you can fine tune it

Bit like aircon in a car, some like it at 22c and others at 16c

Don't tell me you have never twiddled with a compression or rebound adjuster on your bikes suspension?

I had my track bike set up when I got a shit load of Ohlins stuff put on but other than than, I've just rode them as they came.

Anyway enough about clicks...what about that video I posted, check out that jump c9 mins in - How many clicks for that :D

I keep going back to look at the Rally version of this bike - But I’m not intending to sell the Hexhead GSA so would a 701 be a better next/another bike

Rallyes do look nice
Pol Tarres is in a different league to most, as is his Uncle Jordi

I bought a Rally today from a dealer in Tamworth. My local dealer only had three allocated and they have all been sold and the bikes are still a couple of weeks from being delivered.

The Tamworth dealer had been allocated four and they are actually there on his showroom floor but three are sold so I grabbed the last one. Paid full price but got the first service FOC. It's being delivered to me on Thursday. :thumb2

On the forums and FB pages they seem to have sold thousands and yet up here I haven't seen a single other one than mine and I get around.

Recently fitted this B&B engineering rear rack to mine, very nice it is too.. Light, strong and doesn't get in the way. Got stung on import tax though!

Nice bash plate/lower cowl, which apparently is going into production. Can’t see anyone who rides proper Offroad is going to want one of those, but if yah doing light trails and road work. Slats look a bit naff, I’d rather see just some mesh and holes like on other bash plates.

That looks pretty dam good, certainly improve the looks of the bike, but I dread to think how much it will cost, and the weight of it.

The Rally arrived today.

Very pleased with it so far. :thumb2
