OK folks if anyone is interested I'll do a 21Dales ride out on the Saturday.
It's a circular route of around 180mls, which as the title suggests takes in 21 of the lovely Yorkshire dales.
It consists of a pretty good mix of B roads and unclassified roads, it takes in some gnarly back roads and some stupendous B roads, with just a little bit of A road. There is nothing that is technically challenging and everything is on tarmac.
I'm not really into stopping every 10mins but would stop for lunch or tea and cake. The pace wouldn't be balls out, more like a quickish bimble.
If you've never done this route before it really is a good way to see a lot of the dales.
I would intend to set off from the site or the car park at around 10am. You would need to ensure your pretty much topped with fuel as it's a fair way to the first fuel stop.
Please put your name on this thread if you fancy it. I do think a maximum of 10 bikes would be enough.
Steve.
