Day 10 – Tennesse & Alabama
Day 10 – Tennessee & into Alabama
Right lets get this show back on the road. Sorry for the extended delay, work and life got in the way.
I've now found a way to embed the images directly from google photos, which removes the restrictions recently imposed by photobucket and makes the process faster.
Today's route – 261 miles.
The temp and humidity climb as we hit Alabama.
The gravel roads are smooth and fast going. The GS Rallye is perfect. The linked breaking using just the front lever, those huge Brembo's, the off-road ABS and the auto-blipper for seamless downshifts make it very effective at scrubbing off speed, despite it's weight.
We reach the Tennessee River once again. It's scale is impressive. I send the DJI spark up take some stills.
The trail along the river is great fun, it climbs and descends like a motocross track, without the jumps. I'll post a short video of this section later.
We ended the day at a very well equipped campsite (showers and a shop) at Pickwick Dam.
