My mum once told me

Crikey,it’s been over a year since I last did anything with my Guzzi project:blast
Last year got a bit hectic with work, projects ,more projects and a house move so this old bus got shoved in a corner.
I did advertise it for sale but no one seemed interested in my generosity .
Let’s see if I can get any further with it this year:augie
Got the block nice and clean with another session in the aquablast cabinet.
Got the crank and rods in,now just need a few gaskets to arrive to get the short motor done:cool:

Ah logos.................probably, IMHO, the best iteration of the logo to come out of the factory. Apologies but it's on my wall so a picture of a picture...........

Reckon it'd look great on an ally tank :)

Edit: Just found one on the web

Andres

Do you have an image of the left side Andres?
I thought the birdy faced forward?

I think you're right Mikey. On badges, stickers, etc the eagle tends to face to the right. On the bike, the emblem will face the front of the bike.

That is the left side of the tank (no pictures of the r/h side, sorry) but yeah you're right. Normally the eagle faces direction of travel............don't know what the score was with this art deco logo, I took the picture at the Guzzi museum. I don't know if it was a production or one off bike :nenau It's a cool logo though :)

Agreed, but there's always an exception to the rule (especially when it comes to Guzzi :D) - front mudguard of a Falcone from the Guzzi museum..........

The model name is Gambalunga, unfortunately my photo is blurred but if you google it the logo is indeed facing “backwards” on the left hand side

You were right Mike, the pipes I had on my Lemans were exactly the same as Kaffeemaschine fit to a lot of their bikes :thumb2
