ICELAND 2019 WEST FJORDS +

If the last trip was anything to go by, some sort of lube may come in handy....

Yes Tim
In reflection most of the trails were technically difficult..and mentally draining..quite tiring, but towards the end it seemed easier to get ones head sorted..

A Brilliant Trip again mate Many thanks again

Yes the first few days of new trails in the highlands were more of a challenge than the majority in the West Fjords....at least you didn't jump :D

What better way to start a trip than friends, bacon and bubbles

At some point I'm going to do a long winded trip report, but as I have two weeks work to catch up on it won't be anytime soon! :D
Suffice to say, it was one of the best trips I've been on, thanks Tim for letting us join you. :thumb

After a high ride in the mountains with 60 mph winds driving rain and thick mist we dropped into calm fine weather......plus of all things, fish and chips, you couldn't make it up :)

So....the second trip gets off to an 'interesting' start. 10 miles from Reykjavik Toddy falls off into a puddle and gets drenched, we ride up high into Freezing fog, Jon's 790 doesn't appear to have a button to make it go round corners so runs wide into ditch, we have a beautiful camp on the coast and the lads have gone off on the piss somewhere.

Ange is here and I haven't seen her for 3 weeks so....

I think the going round corners button is a power part on back order.

[exuse] For the other 790 owners the issue was not the bike it was me. I was listening to Drop Kick Murphy’s and thought I could power slide round a right hander then felt the luggage ( packed too much as usual and decided ditch safer than the post in front of me). Planned to ride out of it and It was all going well until the peak on my Schuberth E1 fell forward covering my eyes.
