Just seen the youtube launch, and it actually looks real nice. Similar to the Kawasaki z900rs but better, retuned for more power (95 bhp) ish. I think they will sell loads of these if the price is right,
Triumph will release the price later.............
There maybe a R version later on as well, at last a triumph i might actually be interested in buying.....:beerjug:

I have to say I think it looks grim. Truly grim. It just doesn't gel and the skinny seat makes the tank look all wrong (and too big) ~ nil points.
Also there's something about it that reminds me of a XJ1300, maybe it's the side panels or maybe it's 'stance' (low front, high back) or maybe it's just me :D

A real shame as the recent Bonnie releases from Triumph have all been really sweet looking bikes (especially the new scrambler).

It would have looked better with the smaller, Bobber tank on it. Then again. All the wankers would be moaning about the range !

I really like the look of the new Scrambler apart from the new speedo set up.

They have crammed so much into a single dial(why) it's made the info to small, especially for old feckers with glasses. I watched the people looking at the Bonnies at the NEC and 8 out of 10 wore glasses!

I thought the twin dial set up suited the retro style better. Be interested to see how it rides.

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say and you can’t please all of the people all of the time...... But I like it!

Well my T120 Black was and this’ll have the same suspension .....

Think it’s got cartridge forks, although the rear shocks look maybe the same as the standard T120 (which are shite as you say from the factory)

Notice they’ve put a bigger sprocket on the back than the T120, I’ve done this on mine (42 tooth Thruxton R) and it transforms the bike :thumb2

I love the look of this bike and in fact I shall be buying one in the Summer 2020

This BUMP is rather apt as I finally went for a test ride on a Speed Twin yesterday and I really liked it :thumb2

Coming off a Scrambler 1200 XC on to the Speed Twin makes you realise just how small the speedy is. The motor is a few BHP up on the Scrambler and makes peak torque 1000 rpm up the rev range. The demo I rode had just 600 miles on it but was registering 56mpg on the gauge. As a comparison. My Scrambler does 65mpg and my Bobber 74mpg so mid 50's from a low mileage (thrashed to death) demo is pretty good :D

What impressed me the most was the way the bike handled. It tips in to corners with ease and tracks really well. The suspension, despite being at the budget end, works great and the brakes front & rear are fantastic.

The only thing I didn't like was the low spec switchgear which has been transferred over from the cheaper Street Twin. You're a tad spoilt on the switchgear front when comparing it to a Scrambler 1200. :augie

Would I buy one ? Yes I would if they made an R version with spokes :D

I may even seen if I can source a cheap pre loved one over this winter
